STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The NEPPA Student Scholarship Program provides scholarships to Northeast Public Power Association residents/relatives pursuing a higher education. Funded in large part by the NEPPA Member Value Committee, the Student Scholarship is available to students regardless of their academic status, whether just graduating from high school, currently enrolled in secondary education, enrolling for the first time, or re-enrolling after a period of time away.

For Graduating High Schools Seniors
– Scholarship directed at students who are seniors in high school during the 2025/2026 school year
– Recipients should be enrolling in college or trade school program upon HS graduation
College/University
School Scholarship

For Current College or University Students
– Scholarship directed at students currently enrolled in college or university during the 2025/2026 program year

Trade School Student Scholarship
$500
For Current Vocational or Technical School Students
– Scholarship directed at students currently enrolled in a vocational or technical program during the 2025/2026 program year
Applicant Requirements
1. Be pursuing a career in a Public Power related field (Fields of study may include: Electrical, Policy/Regulatory/Compliance, Business Management, Finance, Customer Service, Renewable Energy, Engineering/Research & Design, IT, Environmental Health and Safety, Operations/Maintenance/Construction, or other academic or vocational field of study that lends itself to electric utility employment).
2. Be a resident serviced by a NEPPA member utility or a relative of an employee of a NEPPA member utility. Click here to see if your utility is a member of NEPPA
3. Complete an application and submit it by the deadline.
