The North Attleborough Electric Department, a municipal electric utility with approximately 13,000 customer meters, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of:
POSITION TITLE: Assistant Operations Division Manager
FULL TIME EXEMPT – 40 hrs/wk - Annual Salary range: up to $120,000 DOQ

Under the direction of the Operations Division Manager, assists with planning, organizing, coordinating, and directing all operations of NAED’s electrical distribution and metering systems serving area residential, commercial and industrial customers.
Directly oversee the activities and personnel with the Substation, Facilities, & Fleet group. Manage NAED’s physical security, including oversight of security related vendors and contact compliance. Assist the Operations Division Manager with various division duties to include: analysis of system changes; reviewing plans and subdivision layouts; design short/long term additions and/or modifications to distribution system; supervise and oversee activities of personnel in line, meters, stock and maintenance; development of CIP of approximately $1 million and assists with the divisional operating budget; preparation of solicitation of pricing for quotes, public bidding and RFP processes; visits job sites regularly and inspects work in progress. Oversees work involving electric wires and cables, energized or de-energized, up to 115,000 volts.
A combination of education and experience with a strong emphasis in management in an electric utility is desired.
Preferred candidate will have a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and/or a minimum of 3-5 years related experience. Available on call 24/7.
