The Town of Danvers seeks applicants for the full-time (benefited) union position of Lineworker for the Electric Department.
We anticipate bringing two (2) new Lineworkers to our team. Although qualified First Class Lineworker applicants are preferred, the Town will consider well-qualified Second Class Lineworker applicants. This position performs skilled work in the construction, installation, maintenance and repair of the Town’s overhead and underground electrical distribution system and devices.
Qualifications for First Class Lineworker: Four to six years of Lineworker experience in lower classifications, including at least two years of satisfactory experience as a Second Class Lineworker or comparable position/title in the electric utility industry. This position works 40 hours per week (Mondays – Fridays 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM).
Union pay scale, First Class Lineworker Pay Scale: starting at $44.30/HR, with the ability to move through scale (via step system) to the max step at $47.77 per hour. Second Class Lineworker Pay Scale: starting at $38.46/HR, with the ability to move through scale (via step system) to the max step at $40.43 per hour.
