Village of Sherburne is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Village Clerk/Treasurer.

Appointed full time managerial position whose duties are performed within the laws and statutes of NYS. The Clerk/Treasurer reports directly to the Mayor and works with the Board of Trustees. Duties include but not limited to budgetary development with the Mayor as CEO, as well as ongoing monitoring and reporting of financial performance. The Village is a municipal electric utility and monthly billing, and collections are an essential task. This position involves working with all department heads.  Knowledge of payroll, NYS Retirement System and Human Resource functions are a plus but not required. Strong knowledge of IT and common software needed. Organizational and people skills as well as a legal acumen are highly desired. Salary DOE. Start date flexible.
