SUMMARY:Tactical Tuesday - December
DESCRIPTION:Tactical Tuesday webinars are held on the second Tuesday of each month from 2:00pm – 3:00pm\, virtually through Zoom. They are free to NEPPA members. Each month a different industry professional will present on a relevant public power topic\, with opportunties to ask questions. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Presenter:\nBrock Mowry\, CUSPTechnical Analyst / Journeyman Lineman\,Fast Forward\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Topic:Building Field Confidence and Operational Intelligence\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Topic Description:  \nBuilding Field Confidence and Operational Intelligence is a utility safety presentation by Brock Mowry (CUSP\, Fast Forward) that introduces a practical\, technology-agnostic framework for reducing unnecessary uncertainty before field work begins. It argues that better pre-job understanding—drawn from work orders\, GIS\, records\, panoramic and thermal imagery\, experience\, and verification—improves decisions on planning\, briefings\, equipment\, sequencing\, and precautions without replacing crew judgment. The core process (Observe → Understand → Validate → Share → Decide → Act with Confidence) treats knowledge itself as a safety control that strengthens existing programs and turns individual lessons into organizational starting points for the next crew. Ultimately\, the presentation stresses that the goal is not perfect prediction but fewer surprises\, so utilities better protect the people who work on the system. \nAbout the Company:  \nFast Forward is a leading utility technology company revolutionizing how electric utilities and municipalities document\, inspect\, and maintain infrastructure. Both vehicle and UTV-mounted camera systems are autonomous\, achieving a rare balance of cost-efficiency\, quality\, and speed. \n  \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Register here
