Breakfast with the Boss: Power Up! A Hands-On Look at Public Power

at the NEPPA Training Center (200 New Estate Road, Littleton, MA)

Start your day with breakfast and a behind-the-scenes look at public power! Join Mike Hyland, Executive Director of Northeast Public Power Association (NEPPA), for a full breakfast followed by an introduction to NEPPA and the people, programs, and purpose behind the organization. NEPPA is a non-profit trade organization, headquartered in Littleton, MA that serves municipal and co-operative utilities throughout the Northeast.

After breakfast, Trainers from NEPPA’s Apprentice Lineworker Program will provide a tour of the Training Facility including a pole-climbing demonstration and some hands-on activities in the training yard. Whether you have an interest in public power or are just curious to see what happens in that building behind the soccer fields in Littleton, this is your chance to roll up your sleeves and experience a little of what NEPPA is all about and learn how they support the utilities and people who keep our communities powered.
