Hoisting 1B-1D & 2A-2C
NEPPA offers hoisting Continuing Education and Test Prep classes for:
- Hoisting 1B-1D: hoisting machines, i.e. cranes and bucket trucks
- Hoisting 2A-2C: digging machines, i.e. excavators and backhoes
Per mandated requirement, all classes are scheduled for 4 hours. These classes are for both, continuing education (to renew the license) and the test prep (to prepare for the test to receive a brand-new license). ONLY test prep attendees are NOT required to attend the full 4 hours of class.
Students attending classes for continuing education will need to bring their hoisting license for verification and will receive a certificate of completion at the end of each class. If the hoisting license is not brought to class for verification, or if the license has been expired for more than a year, the certificate will not be issued. In this case, you will have to take the test again. Those who attend for the test prep will receive information to study for the test.

Hoisting classes are scheduled to be held three times a year at the NEPPA Training Center, however dates are subject to change and may be cancelled if there is lack of interest. Hoisting Training is also offered @Your-Site – Click here to register for @Your-Site Training
