NEPPA’s Annual Mutual Aid Disaster Exercise will be held Wednesday, June 25th beginning at 8:00 am. This one-day workshop will allow utility representatives the opportunity to ‘game play’ in a realistic disaster scenario. Attendees will learn how national and local NEPPA Mutual Aid programs operate and participate in discussion about how these programs can be improved.
In addition, Peter Rossi, Chief Operating Officer and Incident Commander for Vermont Electric Cooperative will be doing a Drone demo and discussing the co-op’s use of drones for system maintenance and after-storm restoration. Discover how the co-op is using this technology to boost grid reliability, improve safety, and support power restoration efforts.
