May 27-28, 2026 (7:30 am – 2:30 pm)
NEPPA Training Center, 200 New Estate Road, Littleton, MA 01460
The 2-day course is designed to explain and demonstrate the need for lineworkers to apply cover-up while working on energized conductors, parts, and equipment (OSHA 29 CFR 1910.269(l) Working on or Near Energized Parts). There will be a half-day PowerPoint presentation in the classroom and one and a half days of field training using the techniques learned to apply cover-up, gloving, and sleeves while applying proper work methods.
Who Should Attend
Lineworkers at every level will benefit from this course, whether it be a refresher for experienced lineworkers to touch up their skills and ensure a culture of safety is top-of-mind or an apprentice lineworker who wants the experience of working on energized equipment in a controlled environment. Hands-on training will be done at our training facility where all equipment is “dead”.
