NEPPA is a full-service trade association serving and representing the interests of over 78 consumer-owned electric utilities, cooperatives and joint action agencies throughout the northeast region of the United States.

NEPPA’s focus is providing our members with superior safety and technical training, impactful advocacy and mutual aid that is available whenever needed.

NEPPA’s large and growing membership list attests to the marketing and networking opportunities which it provides and to the relationships which have been fostered through its 60 years as a regional trade and service association.

Membership Types

In addition to its member utilities, NEPPA also has a large number of non-utility members, which provide a variety of services within the public power industry. These members are considered Affiliate Members and include equipment vendors, consulting firms, law firms, association/agency groups, investor-owned utilities and other service providers. NEPPA offers two tiers of Affiliate Memberships: Corporate and Associate.
