Marblehead Municipal Light Department (MMLD) is seeking both junior and senior candidates for roles related to the operation and maintenance of our advanced metering infrastructure (AMI), which serves ~10k, mostly residential customers. The Meter Technician is an entry-level opportunity, while the Lead Meter Technician provides a path for experienced candidates to join our team. Both roles serve a variety of technical and customer-facing functions; qualified candidates should have knowledge and experience in relevant fields, including electrical trades, IT/communications, etc., commensurate with the position to which they apply. MMLD provides excellent compensation packages, including salary, pension, health insurance, and vacation/holiday/sick leave, with paths for further advancement. These are both union positions with anticipated pay ranging $84k-$120k annually, DOQ.
