Description
The Groton Electric Light Department is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Tree Trimmer Groundworker. This position will be responsible for assisting the Lead Tree Trimmer year-round. It is a 40-hour per week position – 4 x 10-hour days (Mon – Thurs). The pay range is $25.00 to $31.00 per hour to start based on experience.
We are looking for applicants who are responsible and personable and enjoy working outdoors. This position involves tree trimming from a bucket truck around medium voltage electric lines and the regular use of a chipper.
