Assistant Utility Director - Electric Division
The Town of Danvers welcomes applicants to join our Electric Division. The Assistant Utility Director plans, organizes, and supervises the daily and long-term activities of the Electric Division.
The Town will consider any combination of relevant work experience, volunteerism, education, and transferable skills as qualifying unless an item in the qualification section of the job description is labeled required.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business, Public Administration, or related field; a master’s degree in public administration, Business or Engineering is preferred. Ten years of electric utility operations and engineering experience required, preferably within a municipal or Co-Op environment. Five (5+) years of progressively responsible supervisory work required. Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office is required.
This position works 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Pay scale starting at $149,720, with the ability to move through the pay scale via step system to a maximum of $213,886.
