ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
The Town of Wallingford Electric Division is seeking qualified applicants for the highly technical position of Distribution Engineer. Successful applicants will work in the design and development of overhead and underground power distribution lines. This highly reliable municipal-owned electric utility located 10 miles from New Haven, CT, serves 25,000 customers in a 50+ square mile distribution area with a peak demand of 130 MW with an excellent rate structure. Applicants should possess 2 years of responsible experience in utility engineering and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and qualifying experience substituting on a year-for-year basis. Annual Salary: $111,293 to $139,116 PLUS on-call stipend when assigned.
