Join Alex Hofmann from the Beneficial Electrification Leauge for a short overview of the concept of Beneficial Electrifcication and how it can help your utility. Also, he'll cover how your utility can work with local school districts to apply for federal funding to receive an electric school bus. Alex will discuss the application process, including how utilities can connect with manufacturers, and give examples of how utilities from across the country have coordinated with schools to get electric buses in their fleets. Bring a representative from your school to ask questions too! The first round of applications are due August 19, 2022, and although timing is tight, the process is simple. As a utility, you can help provide the critical leadership needed to get applications in on time while generating positive media coverage for all stakeholders!
